eBridge Europe Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
eBridge Europe Ltd is the data controller for the personal data we collect. What data we collect
Enquiry and quote data: your title, first and last name, email address, phone number and any notes you provide through our “Request a Quote” and contact forms. Order and account data: where you place an order or create an account, your name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number and order history. Payment data: card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe — we do not store your full card details on our servers. Technical data: essential cookies and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to run the website securely.
How we use your data and our lawful basis
We use your data to respond to enquiries and provide quotes (legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract); to process and fulfil orders and provide customer support (performance of a contract); to take payment via Stripe (performance of a contract); to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation); and to keep the website secure and functioning (legitimate interests). We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have separately opted in.
Who we share it with
We share data only where necessary with: our payment provider (Stripe); our drop-shipping partners and suppliers, solely to fulfil and deliver your order; our website hosting and IT providers; and government or regulatory bodies where legally required. We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our suppliers and delivery partners operate outside the UK/EEA (including in Asia). Where personal data is transferred internationally to fulfil your order, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months, and order and financial records for a minimum of 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any right, email office@ebridge-europe.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
